As You Like It

Kiley produced and directed this traveling production of As You Like It in July, 2023. She commissioned composer Connor Anderson to write the incidental music performed live for this show.

The Embers Give the Players a Stage project is a five night traveling tour in the DC area, primarily Northern Virginia. High school and college students audition in June for the July production. Actors and musicians arrive with lines memorized and music rehearsed for a week of intensive rehearsals before the tour. Churches, families, and small businesses with the requisite space to accommodate our trailer stage host our players for a night. The 2023 tour of Shakespeare’s As You Like It played to an approximate audience of 600.
