Summer camps
From 2016-2023, Kiley has run summer camps for elementary and middle school thespians at homes and parishes in Maryland and Virginia. She designs the programs, writes the plays, and produces a performance with the campers at the end of each camp week.
Beginning Acting: In this one-week beginning acting session for 3rd-6th graders, campers will gain hands-on experience in the theatre through writing their own bios for the program, memorizing their lines, and learning to project their voices. In improv games and show rehearsals each day, they will gain a greater appreciation for the role of the ensemble and get comfortable on the stage. The 2023 production was a historical fiction play about Nellie Bly, the female journalist who traveled around the world.
Troubadours: The one-week Musical Theater Intensive session is for the 6th-9th grader looking for a dance and music-concentrated experience. In choreographed classic Broadway numbers, the campers will be exposed to the classic musical theater dance styles. At the end of the week, they perform a mock "Tonys" musical revue.
