A modern rewrite of Shakespeare’s The Tempest from Miranda’s point of view.
Hillsdale College playwriting senior project
This play found its first audience at a Hillsdale College staged reading for Kiley’s senior capstone in October, 2023. After a year of development, nine actors performed the romance as a staged reading. Each performance was followed by a talkback with the playwright - an open forum for questions and discussion. After this workshop experience, Kiley revised the play and submitted it to the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. She is currently seeking a production partnership for the first full production of Questions for My Mother before publication.
