On the Night Train
In 2022, The Merry Beggars @ Relevant Radio aired a 21 episode historical fiction radio series for young families written by Kiley. You can stream it now on all major podcast platforms. It has a 4.9 star rating on Spotify and 4.7 on Apple podcasts. A year after its initial release, new listeners continue to stream it each month.
The project began in December of 2021. Through extensive historical research into America during the Reconstruction Era focusing on the Pullman Porters and the transcontinental railroad, Kiley crafted an engaging mystery adventure about two stowaways on the (fictitious) Pullman Night Train.
It’s 1879! Edith and Paul Mallard climb aboard the Night Train as it races the Midnight Express across America! But as accidents delay their journey, a mysterious plot of sabotage begins to emerge. Will Edith and Paul Mallard solve the mystery of the Night Train? Or is their journey doomed to disaster?
